Helen Grierson has been making pieces
of stained glass for the last four years, but has only recently been able to develop her skill more seriously,coinciding with her and her families move from London back to the
North East.
Her work is inspired by the shapes and colours of the Northumbrian country-side
and its coast-line. Helen also enjoys
working with images of the sun. Most of
her work is abstract and ranges from small hangings, free standing pieces and
pieces made for larger windows.
She is at present working on glass
screens and installations for the garden.
